In late nineteenth century,golf spread to the Americas, Australia and South Africa,and spread out to Asia in the twentieth century. As golf prevailed among nobilities early,combined with expensive golf equipment ,so it was called "noble sports".

With regard to the origin of golf,there are many different versions.One which is the most widely circulated is that an ancient Scottish shepherds occasionally hit into the hole of wild rabbit with  a boulder when they were grazing,and then invented a sport which is known latter as golf sport with inspiration from that. Therefore,"Golf" appeared on the files on the Scottish Parliament in the the fourteenth century.It was the first time to apoear even in all over the world.

Those who involved in golf firstly were the soldiers of the north coast of Scotland.And then rised to be one of the most interesting sport for the the court aristocrats and the youths of civil society gradually, and eventually became one of Scotland's traditional activities. And then was introduced to England. In the 15th century, golf had been a popular sport in Scotland.According to historical records of Scotland, King James IIordered a ban on golf in 1457. Thus,it  was generally agreed that golf was developed from Scotland.
